I’m isolating at my parents’ house in Norfolk, which is fortunately better equipped than my studio back at home. Crucially, they’ve recently acquired a printing press and jumble of old materials, so I’ve been teaching myself how to make etchings. I don’t know what it is about being here, but I haven’t felt like painting at all, just printing and lots of drawing- my drawing callous is grotesque.

Metal Fatigue by Allan Holdsworth, I am not ashamed.
Paella- For want of a better word. No Spanish person would have called it paella. Could more accurately be called leftovers with rice.
What's the next thing you are going to cook?

Definitely green- I think it has the most diverse spectrum. There’s a shade called ‘chic lime’ that Jeffrey Bilhuber uses which I love. I’m quite anti-houseplant too, so it would be nice for some

I consulted my sister and apparently it’s “get outta here!” which I suppose speaks to my incredulous nature.
I’m unsuperstitious to the point where it circles back and probably becomes superstitious again- I always make sure to step on the cracks.

My siblings and I have been getting a lot of mileage out of the ‘aggressively country child DEMANDING to pet this dog’ meme
Which artist-living or dead would you like to share your quarantine practice with? Why?

We are probably going to get through a lot of these homework sheets - so write a question for other people that you want to know the answer to ?
I don’t know if everyone else feels the same way, but I have felt in particularly close quarters with my vices during this period of isolation, so:
If you had to live with one vice for the rest of your life what would it be?
We are putting together a mixtape - what’s your go to song for dancing? being in the studio? chilling out? falling in love?
I’m going to put forward Spectral Mornings by Steve Hackett as studio & chilling out music. This is what my mum calls ‘anti-social music’ so... topical? Great for clearing out the room. Crocodile Rock by Elton John for dancing, I Have Been in You by Frank Zappa for falling in love, then Broken Hearts are for Assholes for falling out of it.
For Exercise Three, we ask our artists to pick one of the following subjects as a starting point to make some work using an A5 piece of paper/cloth/whatever you like to the size with no restriction on media. These will be published on our website and available for £110 each.
